February Meeting Friday 2/7/14

Surfrider Central Florida will be holding our February meeting Friday 2/7/14. Please come out and hear what we have upcoming. 

UPDATE
If you plan on attending the storm drain marking event tomorrow, check your email before leaving (about 10AM): If it is wet or raining we will move to Sunday 2/9/14 same time, same place. No email means it is on!

Seminole County Storm Drain Marking this Saturday 2/8/14 - Surfrider Central Florida is partnering with Seminole County to mark storm drains that dump directly into water sources.The marking event this week will take place in the sensitive Wekiva Springs area. Come out and help us raise awareness. We will meet at

from there we will car pool to the neighborhood and mark the drains.

We will be officially kicking off our partnership with The Green Restaurant Association - come hear how you can make an impact in the area just by urging your favorite restaurants to think about their practices.

 - what is happening and what Surfrider is doing about it. Take action to help us defeat a proposed bill that will degrade our water quality.

Plus much more. We are going to have a busy April to commemorate Earth Day and need your help planning.
