Lake Jesup Restoration – Saturday, April 5th, 2014, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Surfrider Central Florida will be joining forces with Seminole County SERV to help with Lake Jesup Restorations.
We have very limited space so please respond to chair@centralflorida.surfrider.org to volunteer. Space is limited and will be first come.

Lake Jesup Restoration
Saturday, April 5th, 2014, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join the Seminole County Watershed Management Division and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for our 3rd Lake Jesup Restoration event! Work alongside biologists to plant native eelgrass in this important waterway. Volunteers must be at least 10 yrs old, and wear closed-toe shoes. Please note that we will be working in the water for the duration of the event. We will be meeting at Black Hammock Adventures, 2356 Black Hammock Fish Camp Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765 (http://www.theblackhammock.com); they are generously providing air boat transportation to the planting location! Old clothes, yard gloves, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended.
